Who We Are

WTA EmployeesFounded in Birmingham, Alabama in 1980 by Danny Taylor, Al Latta and Jim Wagstaff, WTA quickly recognized that almost anyone could furnish doors and hardware. They also recognized that it would take a total commitment to quality and service to separate them from the pack, and they dedicated themselves to that philosophy. "We exist to create and keep customers," says President Danny Taylor.

WTA ExteriorThe past thirty years have brought many changes to the company. Sales have grown to $13 million annually. Employees now number over forty. State of the art technology has been installed and is operational. New facilities have been built and new equipment has been put in place.

In 2005, Charles "Sandy" Sanders joined WTA, bringing with him a proven track record and over twenty years of experience as a General Contractor. Sandy has proven to be a valuable asset in assisting management in establishing goals, implementing positive changes and plotting a course for the future. With Sandy's experience as a General Contractor, we can truly "walk in our customers' shoes" and gain insight into our customers' needs.
